A couple weekends ago, I got invited by my dear friend Ami Wirabudi to attend Martha Stewart Indonesia event at Grand Indonesia. The event was a workshop on “How to wear Indonesian traditional cloth”. So right up my alley, I love wearing Batik cloth and would love to learn different ways to wear them. At the event, I learned that mba Ami Wirabudi and Mba Tini Sardadi had written and published a book on how to wear the Indonesia traditional cloth. I think that is just superb since I know a lot of the Indonesian women still don’t know how simple it is to wear the batik cloth or other Indonesian traditional cloth. The book has beautiful pictures and great, easy to follow steps and instructions. LOVING IT! Since the dress code of that event was to wear white…that day I wore my white on white batik chiffon cloth by Bin house. Tried to make it less formal by wearing it with my Zara off white leatherette jacket and my Lanvin leopard pumps. Had a great time and best of all got a free copy of the book. Encouraging everyone to buy the book….it is a must for those who loves or wants to learn how to wear your “kain”.
What I wore: Off white Leatherette jacket by Zara, Tank Top by Muji, White on white Chiffon batik by Bin House, White gold pearl necklace by Trinity Gems, Rolex Daytona watch, Snake skin Rose cuff by One Three, White Gold with Baroque Pearls Ring by Trinity Gems, Chain Bag by Chanel, Leopard Pumps by LANVIN.
