Obin has always been dear and close to my heart. She is a great mentor and someone that I admire tremendously. Her dedication to this country is just so admirable. Obin is the legendary designer of Indonesian traditional textile, behind the prominent brand “Bin House”. I attended her show at the Jakarta Fashion 2013 and yet again another breathtaking fashion show. I want all her batik stolas …her styling is just impeccable. Gorgeous batik stolas with crazy details flown around gracefully and this show just won my heart again at this year’s JFW 2013.
Josephine Komara or we all call her as Obin, titled her fashion show “Time Traveler”, a tribute to her 40 years of her dedication in the business. Beautiful collections through out the show, in which she needed one year to complete her 48 looks for the show. After the show, I felt the proudness in everyone’s claps and standing ovations when the show closed with Obin and Wita paraded carrying the gorgeous jasmine stringed into a stola like bouquet.
My unforgettable moment in this fashion show was Kimmy the supermodel entered the runway with the red stola flown across the stage. Just Epic!
Kimmy’s entrance is unforgettable and a trademark of Bin House show

I am always in love with red…the batik stola is also breathtaking
